This year tremendous work has been done throughout the club to raise money for Charity Organisations. Throughout 2008 Met Police Bushey Sports Club (through the events and sporting sections) raised in excess of £12,000 for a number of charities.
Substantial amounts were raised for particular organisations:
£2300 + for The Watford Stroke Association
£1400 + for the Nightingale Hospice
£6000 + for CLIC Sargent, which was raised through the Summers Charity Black Tie Ball.
A huge thank you goes out to all those people who were involved in raising funds for such worthwhile causes, and I hope this fantastic work continues.
