Full Member

Full members are serving MPS or retired MPS Police Officers and Police Staff who have submitted to the Secretary a written application for membership in a form prescribed by the Directors. They will consent in writing to be a guarantor and voting member of the Club and have paid the applicable subscription set by the Directors.

Ordinary Member

All serving MPS or retired MPS Police Officers and Police Staff who are not Full Members will be categorised as Ordinary Members.

Total Cost - Free of Charge

Associate Member

The following shall be eligible for Associate Membership:

Children of Full or Ordinary Members or former Full or Ordinary Members who have attained the age of 18;

Serving and former members of the Metropolitan Police Special Constabulary;

The mother and father of a Full Member or an Ordinary Member other than when such person is eligible to be a Full Member or Ordinary member;

Any serving or retired officer/staff of a United Kingdom police service;

Fit and proper persons at the discretion of the Directors.

Every candidate for Associate Membership must be proposed by a Full Member or Ordinary Member of the Club, and seconded by another Full Member or Ordinary Member of the Club, to both of whom the candidate must be personally known, and who are to be responsible for his eligibility.

Total Cost - £35 per year

Honorary Member

Honorary Members include:

Employees of the Club; serving members of the MPA;

Life members of the Metropolitan Police Athletic Association;

The husband, wife or partner and children under the age of 18 years of a Full Member or Ordinary Member other than when the husband, wife or partner is eligible to be a Full Member or Ordinary Member;

The spouse or partner and children under the age of 18 years of a deceased Full Member or Ordinary Member.

Total Cost - Free of Charge

For Honorary Members The Ruby or The Pearl Card are available at a one off payment of £50. These cards entitle the bearer to discounts within the club.

Honorary Life Member

Honorary Life Members shall be individuals who accept life membership offered by the Directors for services rendered to the Club.

Total Cost - Free of Charge
